Oh my gosh this book was so cute, especially the ending. I wasn’t really that into the book in the beginning but once certain things started happening I just couldn’t stop reading. This was a very cute and fast read and that’s the only reason I’m giving it 3 stars. There was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn’t mind-blowing or anything. It was a cute contemporary read, plain and simple. This book comes out December 18th and I’m excited to see it in the bookstore.
*I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review and that fact in no way affected my review in any way*

I bought this book after visiting a potential college because I had run out of books that I had brought with me to read. This was basically a cover buy but I also love reading and learning about the Salem Witch Trials. If you, or anyone you know, really likes books about history, particularly the Salem Witch Trials, and doesn’t mind that the book is a young adult fantasy then this may be a good gift or recommendation.

Almost any book that makes me cry gets 5 stars and this book was no exception. Normally I hate to give books a full 5 stars because there is almost always something that can be improved, but this book was just plain amazing. I read it for three hours straight until 1 am and I am just so happy that I didn’t finish the book during school. This book was so highly recommended by just about everyone that I had to give it a chance and I am so so happy that I finally picked up my own copy because wow this book. Now I am happily joining the masses when I say, “read this book, you’ll regret it if you don’t.”

I loved Six of Crows a lot and so I went into this book with high expectations. It didn’t disappoint. This book is almost everything I could have ever wanted to finish off the duology that is Six of Crows. There isn’t a dry or dull moment in this gigantic book and was a thrilling read from start to finish. I definitely recommend this series (duology) to anyone who loves a good young adult fantasy book and doesn’t mind that both books are quite large. While Leigh Bardugo also has another series (The Grisha series) I think I would personally recommend the Six of Crows series over it (The Grisha series) because the writing and story telling is just much better in her latest books.

Honestly, I loved this book and its spin on the Alice and Wonderland universe. It was such a great read and it was definitely worth staying up till 3 am to finish. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves Alice in Wonderland or is even just a good book about a villain’s backstory.

This book was so difficult to read in the beginning, I just couldn’t get into it enough to actually want to read it. I had to stop reading after about 80 or so pages and pick up another book because this book wasn’t doing anything for me in the reading department. I thought I was in a reading slump but it turned out to just be this book. It started to pick up about 125ish pages in and after the 15o page mark it became a really good book.

So I haven’t posted since May. That’s 5 months. I’ve been so busy and I’ve also just got out of a book slump that I’ve been in for a month. That’s no excuse, though, I still should have kept this blog up. I’m sorry that I didn’t. I’m taking 3 college classes this year so that is eating up a lot of my reading time (ugh) so reviews will probably be sparse until my next break (thanksgiving or Christmas).
But, I finished Empire of Storms so here is a review for that and my next one will probably be for Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo.
