20 Bookish Facts About Me

Soooo I should have a book review up on Tuesday but as of right now I just haven’t had the time to write anything worth posting. I’ve been busy with school work and have been a little lazy over spring break when it came to this blog. So um sorry about that! I’ve seen this floating around but I don’t remember what blogs I’ve seen it on. Feel free to comment on any of the facts and share a few about you in the comments below!

Also! Happy early Easter! If you celebrate it I hope you have a great Sunday with your family and friends!

The Traitors Kiss ★★★★★

4.5 stars

I really loved this book and couldn’t stop reading it after about 80 pages. I was up until 2 am just reading on a Monday night. This book was adorable and I really enjoy reading about a kingdom with arranged marriages. Not that I enjoy arranged marriages, but I like reading about how different main characters will react to the proposal. At least in this world, you can be matched by someone who tries to put you with someone who is “good” for you.

March Wrap Up & April TBR

So I know that I just posted a spring TBR but this one is just specifically for April cause why not. There’s also the addition of a March wrap up so I mean it’s technically not the same thing right? The weather is also amazing right now and I love being able to go sit outside and read.

Beauty of the Beast ★★★★★

“Nutrisco et extinguo. I nourish the good and extinguish the evil.”

This book was adorable. Unconsciously I’ve been reading a lot of Beauty and the Beast retellings and that’s probably because the movie comes out soon (or already has come out). I will say that I hated the beginning and there will definitely be some trigger warnings at the end of this review because I feel like some of the stuff in this book will affect certain people.

Three Dark Crowns ★★★☆☆

3.5 stars

I got this book in an Owlcrate subscription box and I loved reading it so much. I read it around Halloween of 2016 (yeah I’m posting this late oops) and it definitely fit the atmosphere. It wasn’t a long read by any means and I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

February Book Haul!

What? A post on Monday? Yeah, I figured that I would post on Monday so that my scheduled posts wouldn’t be moved around. So it’s almost the last day of February and I’ve never done a monthly book haul so I figured I would do one now. These are either books I bought, E-books I received for review or physical books that I received for review. I figured I would do a book haul for the month instead of a wrap up this month and maybe I’ll do a wrap-up for March.

A Face Like Glass ★★★★☆

3.5 stars

So this book came out in May of 2012 but the new hardcover is coming out later this year. I loved the cover and the summary sounded interesting so I requested a copy from Netgalley. I’ve also read one of his other books, Cuckoo Song, and I found it incredibly enjoyable so I thought why not give this book a try. In the end, I’m very glad that I did.
