Books Series I Really Need to Finish

There are so many books that are part of a series that I desperately need to read. Sometimes, even if I love a book, I can’t get the next book right away and this results in me getting distracted. I hate when this happens and I’m hoping that making this list will be a sort of call outpost for me. I really need to just stop buying the new releases and finish the series that I know I love. Are there any books that you really want to read but just haven’t got around to because there are just so many other books?

1. The Song Rising by Samantha Shannon

I think I’ve mentioned that I wanted to read this book before and surprise! I still haven’t gotten around to even picking it up. I already have a mix of American and European editions so at this point I just want a paperback copy for myself!

2. Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

It’s not that I’m not excited to start reading this book, it’s that it’s so long that I just don’t want to get invested in it right now.

3. Windwitch by Susan Denard

I’m kind of waiting for this book to come out in paperback because I bought Truthwitch in softcover and I want them to match. I know that it has technically come out in paperback (at least according to Goodreads) but Barnes and Noble doesn’t have it and I have never gotten around to ordering it off Amazon.

4. Rebel Magisters by Shanna Swendson

I really loved the first book in this series and I really want to get my hands on the second book so I can continue reading about some really cute characters. I’ve seen this book in stores but I’ve always been buying a different book so I haven’t picked this up. This is definitely a thing I need to be called out for lol.

  1. I started the ToG-series a while back but BookDepository had some stock problems and.. well.. I read Crown of Midnight and that’s it. Stupid thing is that I had EVERY OTHER BOOK except for Heir of Fire, haha.
It arrived yesterday. I have a couple other books I need to read first [see, the typical distraction of a bookworm and bookblogger..], but I’m definitely bingeing the whole series after that!

Understand your sequel problem though. I invoked a Sequel September for myself during September so I could finally have THE excuse to read all those sequels that had been piling up over the last couple of months, haha. I got it a bit more under control since but.. Pretty sure I’ll have another Sequel September in 2018. :’)

    1. I hope you love the TOG series as much as I did! Feel free to let me know what you think when you finish!! I’ve never heard of Sequel September and it sounds really cool! I might need to do one of those myself next year lol

      1. Up until now, I definitely am. So glad Heir of Fire is waiting for me to be read. First some eARC’s though -curse those things sometimes..

I organized Sequel September myself for the first time this year. I’ll probably be doing it again next year so you’re definitely free to join in! 😀
