I’m always in a book freak out and so doing this tag was basically a must! I had a pretty easy time coming up with answers but I felt bad for using the same book for more than one answer. I tag anyone that wants to do this tag because I think it’s really cool to look back on the books that you’ve read so far this year.
1. Best Book You’ve Read So Far in 2017?
Truthwitch by Susan Dennard
2. Best Sequel You’ve Read So Far in 2017?
Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
3. New Release You Haven’t Read Yet, But Want To?
WindWitch by Susan Dennard
4. Most Anticipated Release For Second Half of 2017?
Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas!!! I’m really excited to continue reading about the world that Sarah has built for the Throne of Glass series. One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake is also something I’m really excited for but omg how can I wait until September.
5. Biggest Disappointment?
Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke just wasn’t as good as I was hoping and it ended up being really disappointing for me. I go into more detail in my review if you’re interested.
6. Biggest Surprise?
Life After by Katie Ganshert was such a nice surprise and I’m really glad that I was able to read it!
7. Favourite New Author?
Rin Chupeco is definitely someone that I will look forward to reading more of her books because of how good her first book was!
8. Newest Fictional Crush?
Umm, I guess you could say Julia from Select by Marit Weisenberg or Charlotte from A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro but I don’t really have any new fictional crushes.
9. Newest Favourite Character?
Helion from A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas because omg he’s just amazing and I love him. Tarquin is pretty lit too but if I had to pick I wouldn’t really be able to omg where did I think I was going with this.
10. Book That Made You Cry?
Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare again because omg the ending I can’t.
11. Book That Made You Happy?
Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer just made me all happy and I mean what did I really expect from a cute contemporary novel.
12. Favourite Book To Movie Adaptation You Saw This Year?
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon because I think this is the only movie adaptation I’ve seen so far this year.
13. Favourite Review You’ve Written This Year?
This is a hard question for me to answer but Strange the Dreamer by Lani Taylor.
14. Most Beautiful Book You Bought So Far This Year?
Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab is so fricken pretty and so is Tales of the Peculiar by Ransom Riggs
15. What Books Do You Need To Read By The End of The Year?
Omg, there are so many! Definitely Windwitch by Susan Dennard and Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes!!
