PURR – AS CATS DO THIS WHEN THEY’RE HAPPY OR RELAXED, WHAT IS THE BOOK THAT MAKES YOU HAPPIEST OR RELAXED?
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas is definitely a book that I go back to when I just need something happy or calming to read. Most of the time I will skip to scenes I have marked but other times I know that if I just flip to a random page that I will love whatever is there.
SLEEP – WHAT IS A BOOK THAT PUT YOU TO SLEEP OR WAS JUST BORING?
Goldon Son by Pierce Brown wasn’t exactly putting me to sleep but it just wasn’t interesting enough for me to read it all in one go. I loved Red Rising and I started this book with high hopes but gosh did it fall flat. This book just couldn’t keep me interested in the plot or the characters.
TWITCH WHILE DREAMING – HAVE YOU EVER DREAMT OF A BOOK YOU READ?
I probably have had dreams about every Harry Potter book at some point in time. I do remember some from Harry’s first year at Hogwarts though.
SEEMS TO PLAY NICE…UNTIL THE CLAWS ARE OUT – WHICH BOOK HAD THE BIGGEST PLOT TWIST?
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard was a book that I didn’t see the major plot twist coming and I think that is still why I continue to read this series.
CUDDLES – WHICH BOOK CHARACTER WOULD YOU GIVE A HUG TO?
Nina from Six of Crows because what happened to her at the end of Crooked Kingdom definitely calls for a hug.
CATNIP – WHAT’S A BOOK THAT MADE YOU HAVE WARM AND FUZZY FEELS?
The One by Kiera Cass was just such a light-hearted book that it gave me such warm feelings. Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch, was just a cute contemporary that was a fluffy read.
CAT BREEDS – WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS?
I’m just going to list a few but I have a ton. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas, City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner, The Sun is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon and Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
GETTING THE CAT- HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR FAVORITE BOOK(S).
Sometimes I will find them through Booktube or Goodreads but I mainly just go to a bookstore and spend a few hours reading the blurbs from books and then checking some reviews. I also notice books that I’ve seen on Bookstagram and that helps me find a place to start my book buying.
THE VET’S OFFICE – YOUR LEAST FAVORITE BOOK:
I couldn’t really pick just one book for this because I dislike both of these books to almost the same extent. I’m not going to explain why I tend to dislike these books or else this post would be incredibly long.
BEING IN PLACES THEY SHOULDN’T – LEAST FAVORITE CLICHE:
I hate when the author uses love as a cure for everything that the main character is going through. The main character might be having a hard time with something but once they meet this boy (normally how it works in what I’ve read), everything gets better and if she needs to, she can now save the world. It’s just not interesting to read and it isn’t realistic in the slightist. If I’m reading a contemporary book with no fantasy, I want to read about a realistic love story.
FINAL QUESTION: THE GOOD OLD CARDBOARD BOX – MOST UNDERRATED BOOK SERIES:
I found The Gifting series by K. E. Ganshert while looking through the free E-books on the iBook app. This series is definitely one that I’ve seen very few people talk about but it is amazing!
