I am all about the aesthetic and so when I saw this tag floating around I thought it would be something nice to do. I feel bad for not putting out very many book reviews but I’ve started getting back into them!
I have finally finished all of my AP exams for the year! It’s so nice to know that they are all finished and now some of my classes will become less stressful, which is always a nice thing.
BEST COLOR COMBO ON A BOOK COVER
Madly by Amy Alward
I just really love how the pink faded into a darker purple and it mimics the way the ocean progressively gets darker.
BEST TYPOGRAPHY/FONT ON THE COVER
The Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo
BEST SIMPLE COVER
Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake and The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton are some of the prettiest simple covers that I own and I don’t think I will ever get tired of looking at them.
The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen has such pretty end pages and I had no idea till I came across this tag!
The Wish Granter by C. J. Redwine
BEST NAKED HARDBACK
Heartless by Marissa Meyer because wow with the chess board design it’s hands down one of the prettiest naked books I own.
BEST BACK COVER
I really love the back covers of A Court of Thorns and Roses series! They might not be the most extravagant back covers but I really love them.
BEST CHAPTER HEADERS
I’ve always loved the chapter headings for Harry Potter and even though this is the most popular answer, I have to agree because they are so beautiful.
I really loved the pictures in Tales of the Peculiar by Ransom Riggs. Even though they were black and white they were still beautiful.
Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas because when the whole series is lined up together they just look beautiful! I also love the box set of City of Bones (and the Infernal Devices) by Cassandra Clare because the picture that is made by putting all the books together is beautiful.
FAVORITE COVER ON YOUR SHELVES
This is one of the prettiest books I own and as of right now it is definitely one of my favorites. I got it from Sherlock’s home in London but I think you can also get it from Barnes and Noble!
