What? A post on Monday? Yeah, I figured that I would post on Monday so that my scheduled posts wouldn’t be moved around. So it’s almost the last day of February and I’ve never done a monthly book haul so I figured I would do one now. These are either books I bought, E-books I received for review or physical books that I received for review. I figured I would do a book haul for the month instead of a wrap up this month and maybe I’ll do a wrap-up for March.
Let’s start with the books that I’ve bought for myself.
1. Kings Cage by Victoria Aveyard
I only bought this book a few days ago so I have yet to read it so I can’t comment on how it is. I will say that it is really pretty though.
2. Caraval by Stephanie Garber
I got this book in the February Owl Crate and while it may be high on my TBR, I have yet to read it. It looks really good though and it’s such a pretty book to have on my shelf.
3. We Are Okay by Nina LaCour
I bought this book and Rebel of the Sands in preparation for a book signing I am going to in March. Both books have been on my TBR for a while so I decided why not buy them now.
4. Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton
Now, some E-books I received for review either from NetGalley or from the author themselves.
1. Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller
This is my current read so I’m only about halfway through it. I will say that I am really enjoying it and will definitely have a review for it before it comes out on the 30th of September.
2. A Face Like Glass by Frances Hardinge
I really enjoyed this book and I do have a review up right now that you can go to by clicking here. This book was a quick read and it is technically already out but the hardcover version comes out on May 9th.
3. The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco
I just finished this book and I really, really enjoyed it. I will have a review for this book up on March 4th, and the physical book comes out on March 7th.
4. The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
I loved Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and so I assumed that I would love this book as well. I was right. I really enjoyed reading this book and I will have a review up for it on March 2nd. The physical book comes out March 7th.
5. Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer
I feel like I keep repeating myself with these little comments, but I really, really, really loved this book. I couldn’t stop reading it. It was incredibly addictive. A review for this fantastic novel will be posted on March 9th and the physical book comes out on April 4th.
6. Ensnared by Rita Stradling
I haven’t started this book yet but it looks very interesting and I always enjoy re-tellings of fairy tales, especially Beauty and the Beast. This book comes out on paperback on the 18th of December and I will have a review up before then.
7. Pale Highway by Nicholas Conley
I was contacted and asked to read this book by Nicholas Conley and while I have yet to read it, it is the next book on my TBR.
Finally, the physical books I received from Blogging for Books in exchange for an honest review.
1. Life After by Katie Ganshert
This book was so good. Once I started, I just couldn’t put it down. I ended up finishing this book in like four days and I wrote my review the day after I finished it. The review will be public on March 14th and the physical book will be released April 18th.
