Books Trilogies That I Probably Won’t Finish

So there are some trilogies and a few series’s that I started a while ago and at this point, I just don’t think that I will ever get around to finishing them. For most of these, it isn’t because I didn’t enjoy the first few books, it’s because I never got around to buying or borrowing the next books from the bookstore or library. Sometimes I will get two books into a trilogy and then I have to wait for the third book to come out and by the time it does, I’ve lost interest or forgotten what happened in the previous books

1- The Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi

I read the first book a few years ago and I just never got around to buying the next 2 books in the series. I don’t really remember much of the first book but I think I gave it 3.5 stars. I probably won’t pick up the next two books unless someone is able to convince me to do so.

2- The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancy

As much as I regret to say it, I just couldn’t get into the second book in this trilogy. The Infinite Sea just wasn’t the kind of book that I wanted to read and I think it will just continue to collect dust until I donate it to the library for one of their book sales.

3- The Winners Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski

So I really loved the first book, I did I promise but I just never got around to buying the second book. Now I’ve forgotten most of the things that happened in The Winners Curse but I think there might be a chance of me picking this trilogy up in the future.

4- The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

So I hate hate hate the fact that I still haven’t finished this series. I loved the first 2 books and I’m not sure why I never read the third book. As of right now, I can’t see myself reading the last two books (as much as that pains me to say) because I’ve just got so many other books I want to read.

5- Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

I honestly thought this book ended at the first book and I just think the second book is stupid. I don’t mean to be rude but I honestly don’t think a second book was needed and I don’t really want to read about the main character after the first book.

6- Fallen by Lauren Kate

I bought the first book in the series a long time ago and I remember it being all right but I never got around to buying/borrowing the second book so I don’t think I’ll ever finish the series. I also heard quite a few things about the rest of the series that kind of put me off reading any more into it.
